After I read “In the a raisin in the sun,” than I expect that before the presence of character describes the social environment of the development, where some of the main characters live and describe the realities of some of the main characters in the environment. Who want to live in the old, crowded houses and poor quality life, every characters wants a wonderful life to live. They work hard to improve racist traps and improve their life style. Every character of this story is featured in the same character, but the message is also shared in different language, work and values. Welted wanted to become rich. On the other hand, her sister, dreamt of being a smart doctor. She has a different values from her family. She fighting a lot to face her identity and condition, also she wants to change the status through her own efforts. “Lena” is their mother and she is a conservative person. She hopes to buy her husband’s precious insurance to buy a dream house, and own her dream is come true. However, all of the above is a goal with which to improve the quality of their lives and life. The author shares their thoughts, conversations and feelings that highlight small details and feelings that reflect the author’s attitude, how they want to express the author.

When I first started writing, I found it difficult to consider this as a lot of topics to be considered stories. Because I’m hard to read books, to make a lot of heroes, space and stories. Because I think it’s a warm job from life, at the same time it’s hard to meet the job based on good plans. I think reading and experience are important, but it is relatively easy to write with many training. The first article I tried that was a report of a small Roman novel. It was going through a couple of young people’s series, but my story is simple, which I could mean, which is very different from my thoughts. Because contrary to this, I think that my story is not too high and I think I don’t feel alternative.

I agree with Culler view that the narration is the meaning of the story is. I see the main purpose of the stories is to discover more about the joy, knowledge, and more about the daily life they live. The narrative of any story can live you with the pain, it can live with happiness and forever. It can make people understand what real life can do and what it can to do from them. Finally, the best imaginative story tells us that we will not be recognized in real life because the fiction of the fiction that is always about us.

When I read the chapter 5 of Rhetoric, Poetics, and Poetry by Culler, Culler explained that in poem there are four master troops where metal is used especially metonymy, metaphor, synecdoche, and irony. Metaphor compares to something, I think it is the most important strategy of poems and modern words. It can easily convince readers to share more effective information. In the poem of “The sea to history”, Derek Walcott uses here metaphor was a lot of things in the poem, he compares “the sea to history”, the whole poem ends with their belief in the ransom price of their freedom. It is difficult to understand that what he want without the background of culture and religion, but it can be felt by the most basic knowledge of the audience. Also, this method means and the poem spread the word of readers.

When I read first time this article “What id literature and does it matter?” by Jonathan Culler, at that time I didn’t know that there are many kinds of literature. After I read this article, I found that really there are many kind of literature and that is really interesting. I believe that this article give me a different kind of knowledge, which I didn’t have before and I didn’t realize that I need to know about literature, which is really good. I think we just don’t have to look at this like professionally, there are also have non-literary works which we have to focus on it. Generally, I think we have to seriously think about literature.

“What is literature and does it matter?”

1. After reading chapter 2 “What is literature and does it matter?” by Jonathan Culler. I think the main important part is not to judge the difference within non-literature and literature. I think that literature is the improvement of what people think. When I read this chapter I found the most important part which was the Culler mentions that “we can think of literary works as a language with particular properties or feature, and we can think of literature as the product of conventions and a certain kind of attention.” Culler discusses here that what makes readers treat literature in a special site, also we might lose a lot of the culture without literature. I believe that non-literature texts are kind of easier of reader to easily understand what is the texts about. On the other side literary text includes searching for ideas etc. which is totally different. I think we don’t need to complected our life, what we have to do that we need to choose how easily we can gain knowledge and understand everything. I think we must learn both literature and non-literary text to analyze when we need it. So, I think it will help us to develop our language barrier and improve analyzing. Also, we can gain knowledge to deal with literary and non-literary which can help us to better understand everything.
2. Now, a question that stayed with me as I read this chapter was ” What is necessary to judge between literary and non-literary?” also, “What is the importance between literary and non-literary for human life?”
